Betdaq, one of the UK’s leading betting exchanges have announced the launch of a new Pro version aimed at enhancing the betting exchange experience for customers at all levels with a “professional outlook”.

The new portal will offer API integration and free trading tools as it seeks to gain a competitive advantage by targeting the more savvy heavy users. Betdaq already offers customers a great reason to use the site with commission set at just 2% but the new Pro platform could see some Users switching from rival sites such as Betfair, Smarkets and Matchbook.

Integrated with the traditional Betdaq exchange the new portal aims to enhance the customer experience through access to market insights, API integration and making freely available some of the more popular betting exchange software trading tools and video tutorials.

Amongst the software trading tools being made available free of charge are :

  • Bet Angel
  • Geeks Toy
  • Gruss Software

The new Pro platform has been co-developed in partnership with Peter Webb the long term owner of software firm Bet Angel who features in many of the Video Tutorials now available on the site.

Betdaq was originally based in Dublin and founded by leading Irish businessman Dermot Desmond but was bought by Ladbrokes in 2013 and subsequently is now part of the GVC Holdings PLC Group following their acquisition of Ladbrokes/Coral.

Conor Fitzpatrick Commercial Manager at Betdaq commented “BETDAQPro enables our customers to gain valuable insights into the world of professional trading. The website contains video tutorials to help inform and guide new traders to success, while also providing downloadable links to free trading software which will help sports traders to utilise BETDAQ in a more professional capacity. Through these tools our customers can place faster bets, build their own trading formulae and customise the interface however it suits them; all with a view to improving their trading habits and profitability.”
