2. Deposit a minimum of £20 using a debit or credit card.
STEP 2: find a qualifying bet
In order to receive the 2 x £10 free bets, you need to first place a £20 bet with the deposit you made.
- The minimum odds for your qualifying bet are evens (2.0)
- Change the odds format on BetStars from fractional to decimal as you will be entering decimal odds into the matched betting calculator.
1. Find a close match where the back odds on the bookmaker website are close to the lay odds for the same bet on the betting exchange. Make sure that the odds for your bet on BetStars are 2.0 or greater.

2. Enter the details of your bet into the matched betting calculator. Select 'Normal Bet' from the drop-down on the calculator and enter the betting exchange commission.
An acceptable qualifying loss would be around £1. If it is a lot more than this, consider finding a closer match. Lower odds work best for qualifying bets providing they're above the minimum odds for the offer.

STEP 3: Place your bets
1. Check that the odds haven't changed on BetStars and place your £20 bet.
2. Check the odds haven't changed on the betting exchange and place your lay bet for the amount shown on the calculator.
STEP 4: using your free bets
You should receive 2 x £10 free bets when your qualifying bet settles.
You have 7 days to use your free bets before they expire.
You now need to find a close match for your free bet.
TIP: When using free bets, try to choose a selection to bet on that has odds of 4/1 (5.0) or greater as these will return a bigger profit than using low odds.
1. Find a close match on any sports market. Aim for odds of 5.0 or greater.
2. Enter the bet details into the matched betting calculator and select 'Free Bet' from the drop-down list.
3. Check that the odds for your selection haven't changed on BetStars and place a £10 bet using one of your free bets.
4. Check the odds haven't changed on the betting exchange and place your lay bet.
5. Repeat the above steps for your 2nd £10 free bet. If you wish you can place both of your £10 free bets on the same selection. Just remember to adjust the stake in the calculator to £20 rather than £10 so that your lay stakes are calculated correctly.
